Station 1A
The Vischer Ferry Fire Company’s first fire station was established in 1947 when the Town of Clifton Park transferred the Town Hall to the fire company. Located on the north side of Riverview Road, near Crescent Road and opposite the current Station #1, this building had been constructed by Clifton Park in the late 1920s or early 1930s. Originally serving as a community meeting and storage facility, it was also used for voting and hosting square dances. Today, the building continues to serve the fire company, primarily for storage purposes.
